The term USB Pen Drive has been around for a while. I would say that back earlier in this decade most people coming to my site at JDPDigital.com were looking for a “pen drive.”
Then a few years later we actually started carrying a usb flash memory drive that doubles as a ball point pen.
The USB memory is in the cap. So pull the cap off and you can use the drive. Put the cap back on and you have a complete executive looking ball point pen.
These drives have been very popular since you can put a logo on one side of the pen and a web address or a phone number on the other side. PLUS the pens are very nice looking.
This style of USB Pen Drive has a memory size ranging from 256MB to 16GB and can be purchased in lots of 50 units.
Here is one caveat if you are ordering a USB Pen Drive for a customer… sometimes what they really want is just USB Flash Memory… sometimes they are not really looking for a pen at all. So clarify with your customer before you start shipping or get too far down the qualification path.
